Accredited Natural Gas Executive (ANGE) will enable high-potential industry leaders to benefit from intensive learning and leave equipped with new strategies to support them in the challenges ahead as they navigate the energy evolution.
The program is designed for diverse learning experiences such as face-to-face learning, short brainstorming sessions, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and technical applications. ANGE provides participants opportunities for intelligent and personal reflections on what it means to be a leader and to succeed as a thought leader and professional for organizations. Pre-readings and self-assessments encourage participants to reflect on their role in the organization and find opportunities for improvement.
Each participant will be assigned a seasoned natural gas executive as a coach and mentor.
Program participants will see their experience as a career milestone and a testament to their organization’s commitment to their professional development and building an industry-wide culture of learning and innovation.

The Accredited Natural Gas Executive (ANGE) program is designed for high-impact, top-performing individuals—from function heads to directors to vice presidents—with 10–20 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
ANGE is designed with your needs in mind. Busy executives have competing priorities so we have developed the program to run over 18 months to allow you to be fully present in the immersion and manage your responsibilities and company priorities. ANGE is structured to be flexible with your time without compromising the depth of education.
Senior leaders who want to guide their organizations toward high performance and build their leadership capabilities to deliver high-performing teams, innovation and future-ready skills will enroll in ANGE.
As an ANGE participant, you will acquire knowledge, resources, tools and insights to curate your own playbook for transforming your organization and sustaining a competitive advantage. You will network with accomplished peers from across the industry enabling collaboration and building relationships that will benefit you for the entirety of your career.
The natural gas business landscape is evolving. Southern Gas Association’s Accredited Natural Gas Executive program is designed to equip high-potential business leaders with the skills required to navigate an era of uncertainty and transformation successfully.

Opportunity to earn credit toward a Master’s degree in Natural Gas Engineering and Leadership.
Participating organizations will have first access to the University of Oklahoma’s energy focused interns through a career fair hosted by SGA.
The ANGE program is composed of three modules that together will prepare the executive to manage effectively in a changing environment:
