SGA Welcomes Amber Leger to Strengthen Industry Learning & Instructor Network

One of the things that has always set SGA apart is the breadth and strength of our membership community – operators, practitioners, and partners throughout North America sharing real-world experience to advance the natural gas industry together. Our training programs work because they are grounded in operational reality and delivered by people who know the work.  By the industry and for the industry.

As SGA continues to expand our learning portfolio through the SGA Training Subscription, we are intentionally investing in ways to amplify that strength, deepening our instructor bench, increasing visibility into learning opportunities, and making it even easier for expertise to flow across the membership.

With that in mind, I’m pleased to share that Amber Leger has joined SGA as Principal, Learning Fulfillment & Instructor Network.

Amber brings more than 30 years of experience working directly in the natural gas and energy sector, including strong connections across gas processing, midstream operations, and technical service environments. She has spent her career supporting subject-matter experts, operators, and solution providers as they share practical knowledge through training and technical education.

For members, Amber’s role strengthens what already works and will enhance:

  • A resilient bench of instructors with real operating, commercial and regulatory experience
  • Consistent, reliable delivery of SGA’s live learning programs at scale
  • Clearer visibility into training opportunities and how they connect to real-world challenges

For our Associate Members, this role also creates a more intentional pipeline to contribute expertise. Amber will work closely with Associate Members and partners who want to share technical knowledge, support instruction, and help shape workforce capability through participation in SGA’s learning ecosystem.

This is a natural extension of SGA’s commitment to our core pillars, Share. Grow. Advance.

  • Share expertise across the industry.
  • Grow capability and confidence in the workforce.
  • Advance natural gas through practical, peer-driven learning.

We’re excited about what this continued investment means for our members, our partners, and the industry, and we look forward to working together to strengthen the learning community that makes SGA unique.

Thank you for your continued engagement and partnership,
Suzanne
