Event Summary
Many professionals in the natural gas industry have limited visibility into midstream operations, making it difficult to understand how gas is transported, stored, and managed between production and end use. This lack of foundational knowledge creates gaps in understanding how different parts of the value chain connect.
Without a clear understanding of midstream operations, teams may struggle to communicate effectively across functions, misinterpret operational or commercial decisions, and miss opportunities to optimize performance. This can lead to inefficiencies, misalignment, and reduced effectiveness in supporting the broader energy supply chain.
This course provides a practical, high-level introduction to midstream operations, simplifying key concepts such as infrastructure, business structures, and core processes. It connects technical and business perspectives, helping participants understand how midstream functions within the overall natural gas value chain.
Participants will be able to better understand how midstream operations impact their roles, communicate more effectively across departments, and make more informed decisions. They will leave with a clearer picture of how natural gas moves through the system, and the role midstream plays in ensuring reliable delivery.
