Event Summary
Critical operational environments face a wide range of evolving physical threats, yet many organizations lack a structured, proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective security measures. Security practices are often inconsistent or not fully aligned with current threat realities.
Without a comprehensive physical security strategy, organizations are vulnerable to incidents that can disrupt operations, damage infrastructure, and endanger personnel. Gaps in protection, monitoring, or preparedness can lead to delayed response, increased exposure, and significant operational and reputational consequences.
This course provides a practical, real-world framework for understanding physical threats and implementing effective protection strategies. It combines threat awareness with actionable best practices—covering high-value targets, threat types, and proven security measures aligned with industry guidance such as TSA-recommended practices.
Participants will be able to assess vulnerabilities within their facilities, strengthen perimeter and access controls, and improve incident preparedness through policies, training, and drills. They will leave with actionable metrics and a clearer path to building a comprehensive, site-specific security program.
