The Peak Shaving Taskforce provides a collaborative platform for operators and industry partners to exchange knowledge, best practices, and regulatory insight regarding LNG, LPG-air, and high-deliverability underground storage facilities. These facilities play a critical role in maintaining system reliability, market stability, and energy resilience during high-demand periods or supply disruptions.
The taskforce’s purpose is to enhance member understanding, operational excellence, and
regulatory preparedness for peak-shaving operations within the natural gas value chain.
Who We Are? Operators, engineers, compliance professionals, and commercial leads working with LNG, LPG air, or High-Delivery Storage systems—plus associate members with technical and regulatory expertise.
What We Do? Convening professionals who manage or support these critical energy infrastructure operations to share real-world insight, navigate upcoming regulation changes, and help shape the learning resources that will prepare our industry to meet the growing demand for clear natural gas today and into the future.
Where We Meet? The group meets virtually through webinars, in person at planning meetings and conferences, and for monthly committee calls.
