Meet Your Instructor
Scott Vogan
SVP Sales & Marketing, nGenue
Scott leads sales and marketing at nGenue, bringing with him over 34 years’ experience in consulting, software, and business development.
After graduating from Baylor University, he began his career at Ernst & Young, before embarking on a journey into big data, analytics, and business intelligence at Informatica, where he was the second consultant and eventually left as the Director of Professional Services.
Scott went on to sell ETRM solutions to North American oil, gas, and utilities clients at OpenLink Financial, then led business development for Hartigen Solutions, a bid-to-bill software company servicing power generation clients in deregulated power markets. After he was a Managing Director at Accenture, focused on AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics for oil, gas, and utilities. Just prior to joining nGenue, Scott led sales and marketing for Trellis Energy Software.
Outside work, Scott prioritizes time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys playing golf—though less frequently these days, performance driving, and watching college football & basketball.
